Skye’s Philosophy of Wellness

Have you ever met someone that always seems to feel good, look good, have lots of energy and never gets ill? They are for the most part, up-beat, happy, and full of life. Ever find that you ask yourself, “Why?”  Why is this person experiencing good health on an all-time basis and I am not?

There are several reasons for this…genetics, diet, exercise. However, there is one thing the people described have in common.  They believe in and apply certain principles to their daily lives. It’s called “Wellness Philosophy” and it has a major impact on how we feel and how well we avoid illness.

We have all heard for decades the importance of cleansing the body, and giving the body proper nutrition.  We could list dozens of procedures to achieve good health under each of these areas. So, if we know all this, why are we not achieving and maintaining good health? I feel the answer lies in the following explanation.

One of my earliest mentors on life’s most successful philosophies gave me this simple formula years ago, shedding  light on the difference between success and failure and I wish to pass it on to you.

Success is “a few simple disciplines practiced every day.”

Failure is “a few errors in judgment repeated every day.”

This may sound simple, but take a close look at how knowing this can help you amend your philosophy on wellness. We don’t experience poor health overnight. It takes decades of doing the wrong things day in and day out to place us at ailments door. Since there is no catastrophe at the end of the first day, we unfortunately think that it doesn’t matter and we continue to make the same errors over and over.

“An apple a day”…

Let’s put it another way. We have all heard the old saying, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” If that is true you might say, “Wow, that sounds like it would be easy to do, an apple a day to keep the doctor away, sure I could do that because it would be easy.”

Now, here is where we get tripped up. Not only is an apple a day easy to do, it is easy not to do, and because there were no major problems over the short term when I didn’t eat the apple, why should I amend my philosophy on wellness?

There are a half dozen things that make the majority of the difference in our lives. Usually just a half dozen simple disciplines practiced everyday make 80% or more of the difference in our health.

Ask yourself these 3 simple questions:

1.    What do I do on a daily basis that helps my body cleanse itself, i.e. diet, exercise, supplementation, rest, etc.?

2.    What do I do on a daily basis that will assist my body to get rid of toxins and waste products?

3.    What do I do on a daily basis that nourishes and helps the body rebuild itself?

By answering these simple questions honestly and using the experience of others as a guide, you can determine what disciplines you need to amend for your health. Remember…it is not difficult to achieve good health…however, it does take daily disciplines.

What kind of people are NOT a good fit to work with Skye?

Please know I’m selective in who I work with. I will (gently) turn away people who aren’t suited for my Program and won’t get the results (It wouldn’t be fair to them.) The North Star Program is NOT for everyone!

Other types of personalities I won’t work with (without exception) are whiners or the chronic skeptics, as well as individuals who consistently make excuses for not getting their assignments done or challenging every aspect of the program. If you are one of these people, I will gently and respectfully let you know we are not a good fit and I hope you understand why. We’ll just not work well together, and I wouldn’t want you to waste your time or money.

Examples of people who are not well-suited to work with Skyelife:

·    People Looking for a diagnosis

·    People looking for quick-fix cures.

·    People that need emergency care

·    Pessimists

·    People who want to be “cured” but are not willing to take their own care seriously and make necessary changes.

·    People who would rather take a “pill for the ill” and not change their poor lifestyle habits.

What makes me different from other Health Practitioners?

I work with a network of health professionals. Combined we have hundreds of years of experience in natural modalities for chronic illness. I am intuitive, knowledgeable, experienced, and persistent. And most of all -- I get results. I don’t settle for short story fixes—I help you achieve long-term results that will change the course of your life.

Together let’s solve the mystery and get your body functioning at its highest potential.

You will get a one-of-a-kind, perfect-for-you, easy-to-follow North Star to Wellness program with frequent evaluations, check-ins, coaching, and assignments-- in combination with recommendations of herbs, vitamins, Bach flower remedies, aromatherapy, nutritional changes, movement and mindfulness practices. I will take the guesswork out of which foods to eat, which supplements to take, and when to take them.

Most health practitioners will put clients on the same cleanse, the same diet, and the same regime. I test over 5000 remedies to ensure your body is getting exactly what it needs at the right time. I use all my experience, testing methods, and modalities to solve your health mystery.

I have a big personality, and I make clients’ experiences fun, but I am also blunt and to the point. I want my clients to get real results – and that always involves making significant – but attainable-- changes. It’s time to stop treating the symptoms and get to the underlying root of the cause.

I’m going to be laser focused on the way to get your mind body and spirit aligned and back into balance, so you can begin living a happy, energized life. You may not like what everything I have to say-- but you can be sure that we will get to the bottom of the problem- with as much humor and light-heartedness as possible.

Within a few months (sometimes weeks!), you will being to feel better as you follow my direction and take responsibility for your health. You will have more energy, lose weight, look and feel younger, save money on unnecessary supplements, gain complete confidence in making food choices, sleep better, feel more attractive, enjoy better digestion, learn new tips and tricks to make wellness fun and practical, feel happier and have a zest for life.

Being an open minded, spiritual, and mission driven person, I’m known to work best with other spiritual people who are committed to their success no matter what – and are super-ready to get going -- and just want to know exactly what steps to take to feel fantastic.

My clients often tell me – “just tell me what to do and I’ll do it!” Consider what you’ll do with me to be a high-octane crash course on everything you need to know to feel joyful and happy.

You will be expected to take serious and consistent action. No excuses anymore, just a very different way of thinking with full support while you achieve this incredibly exciting goal: more energy, look more attractive, feel at peace and have more zest for life!
