Eat more fiber! More fruits & veggies. Some examples of high fiber foods are chia seeds & lentils.
Eat less gluten, corn, and fried foods (that includes taco shells)! They bind the gut and suck a lot of water out of the body.
Drink more water! Most of us are dehydrated. For best results drink RO (reverse osmosis) or distilled water.
Consider if you have a fungal overgrowth (candida) in your gut causing inflammation and congestion. Pssssst.... most of you do! Take a natural anti-fungal such as garlic or pau d arco. Avoid antibiotics as they make the problem worse!
Take herbs that help promote elimination, nourishment, and tone your intestinal muscles. Yes, your intestinal muscles need to be strong just like the muscles in your arm to function properly. Some good herbs are senna or casgara sangrada. I recommend a product called ICF#1 which is the first part of our bowel cleanse.
Avoid laxatives. They cause further problems. Get to the root of the underlying issue and not just another bandaid.
If you aren’t having a bowel movement a day, or even if you are having just one— you are constipated! This is not something to brush off. Especially if you have ANY undesired symptoms such as depression, insomnia, low energy, etc.
And lastly, get professional guidance. GREAT NEWS... I teach weekly classes.
I offer two complimentary to class attendees. See what it’s like to work with a naturopath who specializes in mystery illnesses.
It’s never too late to get help!
