Fatty Liver Disease. What can you do to reverse it?

skyedavisnd

I have clients come into my office, even children, who want to know how to reverse this condition.

Why you may have fatty liver disease:

You are consuming:

FRUCTOSE – found predominantly in fruit, and heavily processed foods, including high fructose corn syrup, is especially harmful on the liver as it is processed exclusively by the liver and not the digestive tract. One of the most profound ways you can support your liver is to cut out all processed sugars or added sugars.

REFINED CARBOHYDRATES- most people eat a wheat-based grain (bread, pasta, crackers, bagels, muffins, etc) at every meal and every snack. Opt for unprocessed whole grains (barley, quinoa, brown rice, millet) whenever possible.

You body is toxic with:

PESTICIDES - buy organic if possible.

HEAVY METALS - reduce processed foods. This is the biggest source of toxin exposure in the body.

IMMUNE CHALLENGES - yeast overgrowth for example.

Can it be reversed? YES

Support the liver in 3 simple steps:

1. Get the bowels working properly. Do a bowel cleanse that will promote the normal removal of dislodged toxins from re-circulating and becoming absorbed into the body.

The goal is to have 2-3 bowel movements per day.

2. Take herbs that stimulate and enhance normal liver and gallbladder function. Milk thistle, for example, has phytochemicals that bind to, and coat, the liver cells reversing previous challenges and providing protection from future concerns.

3. Eat a nutritious whole-food food anti inflammatory diet as well as take a digestive enzymes before meals.
